The main window overview

You have connected the data feed and now the platform is ready to work. Let’s get acquainted with the main window of the platform, from which you will open charts, see trading statistics and manage settings.

Open charts (Chart) with necessary trading instruments in the main window.
Save your workspace with the opened charts.
To do this, click on the cross in the top right corner of the main window. Enter the workspace name and check the “Save workspace” checkbox.
Launch the platform with the saved workspace again.

You have connected the data feed and now the platform is ready to work. Let’s get acquainted with the main window of the platform, from which you will open charts, see trading statistics and manage settings.

Open a BidAsk imbalance cluster chart and change the Imbalance percentage in the Cluster settings.

Open a chart and switch it to the cluster mode.
Select BidAsk imbalance chart in the left menu.
Open the Chart settings menu in the top right corner.
In the Cluster settings tab, scroll down to the BidAsk Imbalance settings. Find Imbalance Rate parameter, which changes BidAsk Imbalance percentage.
Change values and monitor changes on the chart.

– Switch the chart to the cluster mode and select Volume/Graduated.
– Go to the Chart settings, Clusters settings tab.
– Find “Proportion Settings” section and check “Use Proportion”.

Trading possibilities overview in ATAS

Are you ready to open the first trade in the ATAS platform? You can open and close trades directly on the chart, and also with the help of the special Chart Trader module and in the Smart DOM. Read in the article how to do it.

Try out ATAS Sim.

Open the Chart Trader in the top chart panel and select the demo account.
Buy or sell with the market order.
Set Stop Loss and Take Profit orders.
Close all the orders and position with the Close button in the Chart Trader.

Try out OCO orders.

Activate OCO orders on the ATAS Sim demo account in the Chart Trader.
Place a buy stop order above the current price and a sell stop order below the price.
Wait until one of the stop orders is executed.
After one of the orders is executed, the second order should be automatically cancelled.

Set up the SL and TP exit strategy with the standard values.

Go to the Exit Strategies settings in the Chart Trader by clicking on +.
Select the SL TP exit strategy and press “Add” button.
Open Buy or Sell market order.

Make sure that protective orders are placed and wait for the price to reach Take Profit or Stop Loss.
Make sure that the placed orders are cancelled after the position is closed.

Try out stop limit orders.

Change Stop order to Stop Limit order and set the Slippage value of -3 in the Chart settings, Trading settings tab.
Place a sell stop order below the price or a buy stop order above the price on the chart.
Wait until the stop order is triggered and a limit order is placed 3 ticks better than the current price.

Launch ATAS. Click on Market Replay in the main menu.
Click Connect Market Replay.
Open the ES (E-mini S&P futures).
Check the box next to the open chart in the Market Replay settings window.
