How the platform has improved in 2022 and what to expect in 2023

If you regularly trade with ATAS, you definitely notice by the frequency of updates that we are actively working on improving the platform. The development department provided a detailed report for this article — what innovations the ATAS team brought to the platform in 2022, and what goals we set for 2023 to improve the functionality and user experience. What was done in 2022

2601 changes were made to the code. Each change means one improvement — from a bug fix or minor optimization to a major expansion of the ATAS platform’s useful functionality. We released 162 alpha versions, 56 beta versions, 35 latest versions. On average, a full platform update was released almost 3 times a month!

Market Replay

Our greatest pride of 2022! The ATAS team implemented a trading simulator which enables you to replay the course of trading from the past in real time. The long-awaited functionality allows beginners to gain experience faster, while professionals can test their hypotheses without risking real capital. Crypto Chart Trader

Chart Trader is a panel for trading. In 2022, it became much more functional and user-friendly for crypto trading.  The new Crypto Chart Trader allows you to calculate the position volume and change the leverage in a faster way. The interface became much easier — it uses the same terms as cryptocurrency exchanges (in particular, Binance).

.NET 7

The ATAS platform got a new, more modern and advanced “engine”. .NET 4 was used in the platform, but we successfully replaced it with .NET 7, the latest modular platform for software development from Microsoft, which was released in November 2022. As a result of the technical update, ATAS will make optimal use of computer resources — the platform has become even faster and more stable in operation.

Connectors

Over the past year, three new connectors to crypto exchanges appeared in the platform:

• FTX (the crash of the stock exchange in the fall of 2022 allowed us to draw important conclusions);
• OKX;
• Bitget.

Localizations

In 2022, the ATAS platform “started to speak” in six languages. Not only English, German, and Russian but also French, Spanish and Chinese. To select the desired language, choose the corresponding country flag in the title bar of the main window.

Support

In 2022, we expanded our support team and raised our customer service standards. Over the past year, our specialists closed more than 5,500 tickets and over 10,000 chats. Communication

The ATAS team strives not only to expand the trading community, but also to make sure that our users get as much profit from trading as possible. That is why we regularly publish life hacks and step-by-step instructions for working with platform instruments. We also share working strategies and analytical materials with real chart examples. In 2022, we published 224 articles on our blog. They were written in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, and Russian. We also updated 1096 articles in the Knowledge Base as new functionality was added. Moreover,  we posted 85 videos on YouTube and made 2000+ social media posts so that our users can be the first to know about useful blog articles and platform updates from their preferred channel. If you are not following us yet on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or Telegram, you can do it right now. It is important for the ATAS team to provide traders with more convenient platforms for live communication. In 2022, we started a special Telegram group ATAS Discusiones ES for Spanish-speaking members of the trading community. We would like to remind that we also have Telegram groups for English, German and Russian audience. There you can share life hacks, ask for advice, and share ideas with other users of the platform.

We are happy to note that more and more traders use the ATAS trading and analytical platform. Not only does our team deserve credit for that but also our partners. We are grateful that you share referral links and talk about the advantages of ATAS instruments on your websites, social networks, trading courses, and in various trading communities. It is very easy to become an ATAS partner! Plans for 2023

The ATAS team is not going to stop there.  We strive to make the platform even more functional, easy-to-use and productive. And you have a great opportunity to see how accurately we pursue our goals.

Release native Mac version

So far, Apple computer users:

• rent Windows servers to run ATAS there;
• use an emulator as shown in this video.

Of course, each method has its drawbacks. We will do our best so that in 2023 Mac users will be able to run ATAS without any additional efforts.

Improve Market Replay

We realize the value of Market Replay for traders. Since the functionality is still new, it needs to be improved. To understand what exactly needs to be done, we have collected feedback from many traders who have already tried it. For example, we are going to launch the start of the Replay mode not from 00:00 on the selected day, but from a random point in time.

ATAS 2023 improvements checklist:

• implement OpenGL rendering — so that charts are drawn faster;
• improve the Wizard — to make it easier and faster for new users to master the ATAS platform;
• add a risk manager — it will monitor the performance of the trader and warn in case of reaching “red lines” in losses;
• improve the statistics module performance;
• improve functionality for managing multiple portfolios;
• improve functionality for working with drawing elements, add global drawing objects;
• add connectors to the WhiteBit, Phemex exchanges and maybe some others.
