ATAS at the Prop Firm Expo London: Order Flow Rules the Stage

The Prop Firm Expo at London’s QEII Centre Westminster brought together around 2,000 attendees and offered a front-row seat to an industry in hyper-evolution. At the organizers’ explicit invitation, the ATAS team stepped up to deliver a massive 90-minute masterclass inside Traders University. The sheer volume of traders packing the room made one major trend crystal clear: the industry is rapidly outgrowing generic charts and going all-in on order flow.

Behind the Scenes at PFE: Navigating the Modern Prop Ecosystem

By Saturday morning, the energy shifted completely to the iconic Queen Elizabeth II Centre right in the heart of Westminster. Over 20 of the biggest prop firms on the planet took over the floor, driving massive engagement through gamified challenges and live trading leaderboards.

About 2,000 traders attended the Prop Firm Expo

The prop industry is rapidly growing and becoming younger, but along with this, the demands of the participants themselves are changing. It has become obvious that traders are no longer interested in basic indicators — the new generation is looking for professional software for deep market analysis. To consistently pass strict evaluations and maintain funded accounts, standard charts are critically insufficient for the audience, and working with order flow is becoming a key advantage for them.

Inside our Workshop: Why Traders Actually Blow Evaluations

We tackled that exact operational bottleneck head-on during our session, “Why Traders Fail Evaluations — and What Order Flow Reveals That Charts Don’t,” over at Traders University. Traditional candlesticks only tell you where price used to be. They completely blind you to why a sudden wick hunts your stop an instant before moving precisely toward your original target.

Anastasiia Demishkevych breaking down why traders fail evaluations on stage

Anastasiia Demishkevych and our engineering team ran a live, top-to-bottom platform walkthrough, mapping out exactly how to build an institutional-grade workspace tailored to the strict mechanics of prop challenges.

We focused heavily on two game-changing operational setups:

    • Deconstructing the “Stop-Hunt” Illusion: What looks like bad luck or sudden market manipulation on a basic chart is actually a highly logical auction process. Order flow maps out exactly how price is drawn directly into heavy pools of resting institutional liquidity.
    • The Structural Edge of 3D Heatmaps & the MBO Bundle: Our Heatmaps and Market-by-Order data track the real-time distribution of limit orders resting in the book. This gives you the precise structural view needed to scan liquidity depth at critical price levels, see exactly where the heavy institutional size is sitting, and prevent your trailing drawdown from getting hit.

Instead of the scheduled 15 minutes for Q&A, the workshop turned into a half-hour open discussion. The audience literally wouldn’t let the team go, asking for details on how the RangeXV indicator works, the logic of volume movement, and the specifics of order book mechanics. But a spoiler from the team generated a special, lively interest: we lifted the veil on the future Risk Manager functionality, and traders immediately showered us with questions about how the new strict risk control algorithms will help automatically protect deposits from tilt and comply with strict prop challenge rules right inside ATAS.

Ground Observations: The Prop Community is Maturing

On the sidelines of the expo, our Head of Business Development, Andrey Kozhemyakin, discussed prop industry trends with Albert Surio, CEO of Wall Street Funded and Wall Street Futures.

Media Presence & VIP Backstage Strategy

The interactions at the main ATAS booth confirmed this structural market shift. Traders weren’t looking for generic trading advice or marketing hype; they came to us with highly advanced, practical questions on delta divergence, volume clusters, and large institutional order filtering.

The prop space is visibly moving past simplistic, signal-based platforms. Serious traders are realizing that to convert a demo environment into a real, sustainable funded payout, you absolutely must read market depth and understand the precise capital driving the order book.

ATAS PR Manager Yuliia Savitska on-site with Prop Firm Match Co-Founder and CEO Michael

Our presence on the floor extended well past the main stages. The ATAS PR team was moving fast behind the scenes, mapping out media touchpoints and aligning with top creators across the space. Specifically, our PR Manager Yulia Savitskaya discussed prop industry coverage trends directly with Austin Silver, founder of ASFX and host of The Day Trading Show.

Michael Burgstaller giving an interview to PFM TV

Right next door in the media hub, professional futures trader and ATAS DACH expert Michael Burgstaller sat down for an exclusive broadcast interview with PFM TV. Michael broke down exactly why utilizing a Smart DOM and footprint configuration protects a trader’s capital infinitely better than trying to time entries with lagging indicators. The full recording goes live on YouTube shortly.
