Bitget: the new crypto exchange is available in ATAS

About the Bitget exchange
The Bitget cryptocurrency exchange was founded in 2018 in Singapore. At the time of writing this article (fall 2022), it serves about 2 million users from 50 countries.
The original feature of the exchange is its promotion through e-sports and football brands. Bitget is a partner of Juventus and Galatasaray, and Leo Messi is its ambassador.
Concerned about the safety of customer funds, Bitget launched a $200 million fund in August 2022 to protect assets and ensure security against hacks.
Bitget provides the following opportunities:
- trading cryptocurrencies in the spot market;
- trading cryptocurrencies in the futures market;
- staking, copy trading and other services provided by modern cryptocurrency exchanges.
Using cool instruments of the ATAS platform, you can get an advantage in trading on the Bitget exchange.
How to connect to Bitget through ATAS
The four-step procedure is typical for ATAS connectors to cryptocurrency exchanges:
Step one. Download and install ATAS.
Step two. Register on the Bitget exchange, set up account protection, fund your account. This can be done by transferring cryptocurrency. If you do not have crypto yet, you can buy it with fiat.
Step three. Go to the API Management section in your Bitget account.
Create a new API to connect to your account.
When connecting, you must specify:
- access;
- allowed IPs (optional);
- random passphrase;
- secret keys sent to you by the system.
Get your API Key and Secret Key.
Step four. In the ATAS platform, click Connections, then Add (1), select Crypto → Bitget.
In the Connections (2) field, paste the keys that you generated in the Bitget account, as well as the passphrase you created.
Click Finish.
If you did everything correctly, you will be connected when you click Connect.
Congratulations, you have been successfully connected!

Please note: the Bitget connector in ATAS supports only the Futures section. To start trading, you will need to transfer funds within the Bitget account from the Spot account (where they are usually deposited) to the Futures account.
Available funds will be displayed in the Chart Trader. Now you can perform trading operations in the ATAS platform.
Please note that you will be charged a fee for each trade. Its current rate can be found on the Bitget exchange website.
How to start trading cryptocurrencies
Cryptocurrency is a risky but at the same time very promising instrument for gaining profit due to changes of the exchange rate.
On the Bitget cryptocurrency exchange, a significant amount of trades is made on the spot section. Here you can buy a real coin: BTC, ETH, ADA, XRP and others. This section is great for long-term investment strategies.
